Edit
In 2003 Edit left the corporate world behind her and set up Gardner Webb Accounting. Her corporate background served her well over the years – enabling her to approach client issues in an analytical way – giving practical advice that has a measurable impact on her clients’ businesses and profits.
She is also one of those rare breeds who likes all things tax and is a chartered tax adviser. She is your first point of contact for any tax matters – she’s well versed with the brown envelopes landing on your desk. Edit holds a degree, is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, a fellow member of the AAT and a member of the ATT.
Edit is terrible in the mornings, she’s a night owl. She’s married, has a grown-up son and two (very naughty) cats. She loves Greek food and is an avid reader.
Claire
Claire trained and worked in an accountancy practice for eight years before being headhunted to take on commercial roles. After 14 years heading up finance teams, Claire has returned to practice.
She is responsible for co-ordinating all your service requirements and is personally responsible for all your compliance matters, such as tax returns, accounts, VAT returns, payroll, etc. Claire is well known for running a happy, but tight ship whilst complying with the numerous different pieces of legislation and achieving all your critical deadlines.
Claire is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the AAT.
Claire has the loudest laugh in the office. She is married with a teenage son and a dog with boundless energy (and zero obedience). She likes sailing. She loves Italian food and is a traditional G&T girl.
Dolly
With numerous qualifications already under her belt, an impressive CV, and a super friendly personality, Dolly brings skills and sunshine into our office every day, which is very much appreciated by the rest of us. She’s an avid learner and always has a new course on the go to sink her teeth into.
Dolly is a great cook and is responsible for our ever expanding waistlines – we have her to thank for all the yummy sweets in the office. She is also a keen runner (unlike the rest of us…), so safe from the unwanted side effects of her cooking.
Jenny
After leaving school finishing her A levels in Business and Media, Jenny worked at a variety of places trying to figure out what suited her interests best. She volunteered at Age Concern, worked for a retailer, and a mortgage company, before finally finding her passion for administration at Gardner Webb Accounting.
Jenny loves to have a laugh, watch movies and do anything arts and crafts. Her favourite type of food is Mexican and prefers Dr. Pepper above all other drinks.
